Our inspiration for Tabasu originates from the meaning of Tapa’s in Tamil. Tamil is the oldest living language on earth. The Blue Haven Collection’s Head Chef Meeran has combined local Irish produce with a modern twist on the flavours and textures of India. Celebrating diverse regional methods of cooking, served in delicate surroundings of the Old Bank Townhouse Kinsale.

In order for our customers to relate we say it’s a Tapas style restaurant, incorporating the sensory joys of Indian cuisine into an unforgettable dining experience we cook with honesty and passion. Tabasu specialises in the unexplored cuisine of India we are not your traditional “curry house”. At every instance, we aim to enchant our guests with a vibrant Indian culture, and cuisine of the highest calibre

This coupled with a unique selection of Wines, Cocktails, Whiskeys, Gins and a new unique Rum selection will combine to create a new and unique experience in the heart of Kinsale.
