History of Old Bank House

The Old Bank House, so called because the Munster & Leinster Bank was situated in this building, is a beautiful Georgian-fronted house. It is sited in Pearse Street also known as the Long Quay which originally fronted a waterway used by sailing ships when they berthed in the quays which ran from the site of Good's Mills to the Glen.

The Old Bank House is now part of the Blue Haven Collection, providing high-class accommodation in the town centre, and is especially popular with visiting golfers while the Café Blue is an ideal place to relax.
